Bishops Waltham Welcomes A New Addition To The Team

It’s always important to us that we have current and safe machinery operating within our yards.

We recently added to our equipment by purchasing the Volvo EW160D. The 360º grab has an operating weight of up to 18,200kg and a bucket capacity of up to 0.96m³.

Environmental concerns are high on the list of priorities for us and we ensure that our plant and equipment measures up to our policies. The Volvo EW160D has a specific Eco Mode to increase fuel efficiency and keep emissions down. Additionally, it operates an Idling System that shuts down the engine when the controls have been inactive for a specific length of time (3-20 seconds), this reduces fuel consumption and offers extra safety benefits for our teams.
