How to Sell Scrap Copper?
Selling your scrap copper to H&S Metals is easy. Simply drop off your metal to one of our scrap yards in Portsmouth or Bishops Waltham. Alternatively, we can collect the scrap metal if you are located in Portsmouth or Southampton. We will then weigh the metal and provide you with a printed receipt detailing the weight and current rates. You can then choose whether you'd like to be paid via cheque, BACS or same day transfer. When we buy your scrap copper, we will need to see some ID and proof of your address. This could include a valid photocard driving licence or a passport with a utility bill dated within the last 3 months. We cannot accept mobile phone bills as proof of your address.

We have one scrap yard in Portsmouth and one in Bishops Waltham which is close to Southampton and Winchester. Taking your scrap copper directly to a yard will enable us to check the quality and weight before offering you a price on site.
